Summer STEM Camp 2024

Program Overview

Our Summer STEM Camp 2024 was a comprehensive 4-week intensive program designed to introduce local youth to cutting-edge technology and programming concepts. The camp combined structured learning with hands-on project development, giving participants real-world experience in artificial intelligence, robotics, and 3D printing technologies.

Key Activities

• AI Programming Workshops: Introduction to machine learning concepts and Python programming
• Robotics Engineering: Building and programming autonomous robots using Arduino and Raspberry Pi
• 3D Design & Printing: CAD design fundamentals and hands-on 3D printing projects
• Team Projects: Collaborative final projects showcasing learned skills
• Mentorship: One-on-one guidance from experienced STEM professionals

Program Impact

The camp successfully engaged 85 youth participants aged 12-18 from diverse backgrounds. Over the course of four weeks, participants completed 20 innovative projects ranging from AI-powered chatbots to autonomous delivery robots. The program not only enhanced technical skills but also fostered creativity, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative teamwork.
